Golden Hut to Hut

Hiking from hut to hut in the Esplanade range of the Selkirk mountains near Golden BC is a delight. With four huts spaced a days walk from each other the whole length of the esplanade, we will see a new section each day. We'll carry light packs with personal items only as each lodge is fully equiped to keep us well fed and comfortable.

We'll cover intermediate canoe  skills in class 1-2 moving water, working  on form and technique including stroke improvement, reading the river, review of eddy turns, ferries, S-turns, and river reading.
